Wat is Node.js?
Node.js is a platform that is used to quickly build fast and scalable network applications. Node.js is light and efficient and therefore perfect for data-intensive, real-time applications that are running on multiple devices. Node.js is open-source and cross-platform, which makes it very accessible. Its applications are written in JavaScript, hence the .js in the name. It offers a rich collection of different, easy-to-import JavaScript modules that facilitate the development strongly.
What does a Node.js developer do?
A Node.js developer is responsible for writing the server-side web application logistics in JavaScript and/or varieties of JavaScript. Node.js programmers mostly develop back-end components, connect the web applications with other (often third-party) web services, and support the front-end developers with the integration of their work with the Node.js application.
Node.js developers have mastered JavaScript very well, since this is the base of the platform. Every Node.js developer knows how to interpret existing API codes to make use of them in their own project. In short, they know how to manage interactions between many different systems.
