Wat is Machine learning?
Machine learning is an artificial intelligence (AI) application. It gives AI systems the ability to learn things automatically, based on data from their environment. This learning process can then be used to make better decisions. There are many different algorithms that use machine learning to learn, describe, improve data iteratively, with the final goal to predict better results. These algorithms use statistical techniques to identify patterns, and perform tasks based on these patterns.
What does a Machine learning developer do?
A data scientist has fundamental knowledge of machine learning. This means they are familiar with supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning; they know the difference between regressions and classifications; have a good idea of the different methods that belong to different techniques. Data scientists are specialised in recognizings machine learning errors, and choosing the right algorithms to solve those errors. They are able to read and understand recent literature, since machine learning is rooted in science.
